Event planning can constitute a five minute meeting or encompass day after day of input, feedback and above all organization. The first meeting is with executive chef/proprietor Karen Spire. With all events we review the basic needs and build upon them. So if you are thinking about your event, here are some questions you need to ask yourself.
Where is the event location? Date and Time?
Is the event indoor, outdoor or both? Is tenting required?
How many people are attending or approximate size?
What type of menu or menu ideas? What are your favorite foods? restaurants?
Do we need to rent essential equipment? Such as tables, chairs, glassware, etc.
Do you require a photographer, florist?
What are the budget allocations and constraints?
With some of these questions answered we can establish what the event requires.
These items include:
Staff size
Floor plan arrangements
Refreshment setup and staffing
Table format and setup
Menu and menu options
Catering prep and staff locationing
Event hostess*
* In most instances our event hostess can help establish time lines for the event and provide direct response during any event. Remember that most events do not require an event hostess
What a wonderful experience it is to attend a well planned function or event. The feel of the room, the conversation and the memories all start with a well orchestrated event plan. So let Karen and her staff help plan your next event.
